Almost all consumers are users of embedded finance, even if they don’t realise it. Ever since the pandemic, the digitalization of banking transactions has increased rapidly, with far fewer in-person branch visits. For example, the ridesharing company Lyft now offers a checking account and debit card to its drivers, which means drivers can get paid immediately after every ride, rather than having to wait weeks to get a lump sum payment from the company.

It is changing customer journeys and offering a huge range of financial services incorporated into them.
